A gorgeous chunk of Australian opal has been cut with two broad facets and hung from a soldered bail with a small sequin accent. The 18" gold cable chain is accented with a sparkly diamond bead. The 20mm opal shows purplish-blue fire and interesting gray banding. The gold has been given a satin finish and the necklace is finished with a small spring ring clasp. The modeled photo shows the necklace layered with a similar, sold necklace.
